January 23, 2027 · Charlotte, NC
A concert weekend and community event where we give back to families in Charlotte and the surrounding areas — entertainment, food, food trucks and connections to real resources, at no cost to attend.
The platform
The Other Side is a Black culture platform built around music, artists and the real stories of community. It lives as filmed content — artist conversations, performances and the people behind them — and it comes to life in person through live events.
Community Impact Weekend brings that platform to Charlotte through two distinct experiences: a filmed production day capturing artist conversations, performances, community stories and select partner integrations, followed by a free public Community Impact Day + live concert for 1,500 attendees.
Why it's free
We want the community to relax, be relieved and not have to exhaust their finances for art, culture and entertainment. Because culture shouldn't cost a family their grocery money.

The two days
Day one · Production (private)
A full production day for The Other Side content: artist interviews and performances, community storytelling, and select sponsor integrations captured for approved content and partnership storytelling.
Day two · January 23, 2027 (free + public)
National touring talent and full concert production, 1,500 seats at $0 admission, alongside food insecurity relief, economic-relief giveaways, mental wellness screenings and resource connections.
